During a engagement to a cathedral in Staffordshire on Monday, the King was heckled by a individual who asked him about Prince Andrew's links with disgraced financier Epstein.

The man asked how long the monarch had been known about his sibling's association with Jeffrey Epstein, and also raised doubts about whether he had instructed the police to "hide" for Andrew.

Amid the heckling, there were throngs of fans and cheers for the monarch, who was visiting Staffordshire for an ceremony.

The Duke of York's connections with Jeffrey Epstein have been under renewed focus in recent weeks. The prince, who gave up his royal duties earlier this month, has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

"How long have you known about Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein? Did you request the authorities to cover up for Andrew?"

The King ignored the questions but continued greeting fans, some of whom chanted "Long live the King". One supporter can be overheard asking him for a hug.

Another woman outside the venue was also heard telling the protester to "leave" and to "be quiet".

Controversy Reignited by Posthumous Publication

The controversy over Prince Andrew's links to Jeffrey Epstein has been revived by misconduct claims detailed in Ms. Giuffre's recently released book.

In the publication, Ms Giuffre says she had sexual encounters with the royal on multiple times, including once with Epstein and "eight other young girls"

Andrew, who agreed to a out-of-court agreement with the plaintiff in recent years, has consistently denied any wrongdoing. In 2019, he told a news program he did not remember meeting Ms Giuffre "ever", and that they "did not have any sort of sexual contact."

New Inquiries About Finances and Living Arrangements

But in recent times, new inquiries have been raised about how he is able to fund his way of life despite not being a active member of the royal family.

The disclosure that he has only ever paid a token annual rent on his Royal Lodge has heightened the examination over his housing situation - even though he made significant contributions up front, including for improvements.

The political party said he should be called in before MPs to give evidence about his lease of his residence.

But last week, the authorities declined to give parliamentarians time to discuss the royal's titles or his residence, despite growing pressure for scrutiny.

The royal household has not issued a statement on whether the Duke of York might relocate of his current residence - or where he might reside.
